US and India to cooperate for civil aviation programme

US and India are looking forward to cooperatively take ahead their civil aviation plans relating to modernization and tackling the challenges.
The decision came after several sessions were held between Obama administration and Indian delegation that was supervised by Madhavan Nambiar, the civil aviation secretary.

The subjects discussed during the meetings related to the direction in which to take the developments, as informed by a statement released by Indian Embassy.

Both the nations decided to make the ACP (Aviation Cooperation Program) signed in June 2007 more useful for India and handle challenges of making the sector safe, modernise it and provide greater technology and telecommunication support.
Also, it was decided that the next aviation summit is to be held in December09 in US.
