Obama and PM and Express Hope For Greater Economic Cooperation Between India and the US

President Barack Obama has expressed the hope that the economic cooperation between India and the US will become stronger in coming days and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh too has promised to deepen the existing trade ties.

The positive sentiments regarding closer cooperation in business and commerce were expressed during PM Dr. Manmohan Singhs state visit to the US.

The two leaders also mentioned several other areas where both the nations are likely to cooperate including nuclear cooperation.

Dr Singhs visit to US is widely seen as a very successful one given the warm reception he has received from his hosts. The visit is also seen greater cooperation in areas like green technology along with energy and science.
